No. But it was something I read elsewhere on this forum within the last couple of weeks on this or another KDE related thread. I was only repeating what someone who seemed to have first hand experience had reported. And not having time to find the specific place in the forum where I saw it, I just wanted to point out that while this might seem like an attempt to push users toward KDE4, I could conceive of legitimate useful reasons to put some code in KDE3 to make it better coexist with KDE4.
