Hi, I attempted to use jdictionary on my system with three plugins installed: ENG-GER, ENG-HUN and GER-HUN. (This meaning, that at least one language having special characters in all of them.) Surprisingly all of these chars display as an empty quadrat, making impossible to use the program on a productive way. e.g. searching in words contai- ning special characters works only with regexps, but not with bare- words. Running the app from the command-line I used to get: scanPlugins(): Processing file: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngHun-1_4.jar Loading InfoSheet from file named: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngHun-1_4.jar InfoSheetCreator: Local specific info sheet is not found in plugin named: SmartEngHun-1_4.jar Trying to load the default sheet PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en.class PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en_EN.class scanPlugins(): Processing file: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngHunExp-1_4.jar Loading InfoSheet from file named: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngHunExp-1_4.jar InfoSheetCreator: Local specific info sheet is not found in plugin named: SmartEngHunExp-1_4.jar Trying to load the default sheet PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en.class PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en_EN.class scanPlugins(): Processing file: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngGer-1_4.jar Loading InfoSheet from file named: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartEngGer-1_4.jar InfoSheetCreator: Local specific info sheet is not found in plugin named: SmartEngGer-1_4.jar Trying to load the default sheet PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en.class PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en_EN.class Plugin SmartEngHun-1_4.jar is already loaded scanPlugins(): Processing file: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartGerHun-1_4.jar Loading InfoSheet from file named: /usr/share/jdictionary/Plugins/SmartGerHun-1_4.jar InfoSheetCreator: Local specific info sheet is not found in plugin named: SmartGerHun-1_4.jar Trying to load the default sheet PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en.class PluginLoader: File Not Found: SMARTResources_en_EN.class Saving prefs file...English - Hungarian Saving prefs file...Hungarian - English Saving prefs file...German - Hungarian Saving prefs file...Hungarian - German Saving prefs file...English - Hungarian Expression Saving prefs file...Hungarian - English Expression Saving prefs file...English - German Saving prefs file...German - English maybe it has something to do with the above described problem. Any ideas are very welcome, because I wouldn't let my 65+ mom learn regexps now ;) I can reproduce this messages on the SUSE 10.0 of my girly and my own 9.1; all of them have generally English locale. Thanks a lot, Pelibali
