Hi, I'm trying to install SuSE 6.0 on a new SCSI HDD but the installation can't get past the "select installation media" stage. The hardware : MSI 6120 Dual PII mainboard with adaptec AIC 7895 UW SCSI adapter. One IBM U2W DDRS 34560 HDD and a Pioneer DR-U16S SCSI CDROM. I booted from the CDROM and it went into LINUXRC successfully. I went to 'Start Installation' and select 'Installation from CDROM'. After trying to mount the CDROM, it gave an error msg of 'An error occured during installation'. I went to Alt F4 and saw the following error msgs : Startup Unable to identify CDROM format VFS: brelse : Trying to free free buffer sr_photocd : (SONY/PIONEER) Hmm,seems like the CDROM doesn't support multisession CD's. Can anyone help me on this? thanks! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at <A HREF="http://www.hotmail.com</A">http://www.hotmail.com</A> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
