provider doesn't allow relaying for obvious reasons. So, now I have to figure out how to tweak postfix into not attempting to relay but to actually connecting to my provider's smtp server with authentication and all and deliver its payload rather than to use it as a relay. At least this is how I understand how it ought to work.
Normally, when your ISP sees you're on it's network, you're automatically allowed to relay, at least that's the way it works with my provider. For that purpose you only need to set the 'relayhost' parameter. relayhost = [aa.bb.cc.dd] # ip# of ISPs mailserver.
I seem to be unable to figure this out using YaST, though. Can someone please point me to the knobs and switches that have to be turned and thrown?
