For instance, the hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1300 support is broken in 10.3.
Is this listed in above bugzilla?
Or is there a bugzilla for this issue?
In another one, already closed (328771 and 328773). It is also broken upstream, as far as I know: I had to patch the kernel to make it run: ] Try and edit tveeprom.c and change ] ] { TUNER_ABSENT, "Philips FMD1216MEX"}, ] with ] { TUNER_PHILIPS_FMD1216ME_MK3, "Philips FMD1216MEX"}, And after that, the analog tuner worked, but slow (no overlay mode), and with no sound. Even the digital part has no overlay mode, meaning high cpu usage, and pauses. I removed the card as useless. I turned to a B&W "real" TV instead (4"), which in turn was replaced a week ago by a second hand 15" TFT hanging from a nail in the wall. I bought that card because it was reported as working. I wrote a note in the wiki stating that it doesn't, so that others are not mislead. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
