On older or weaker machines it can take a while for the KDE environment to load. Have you given it time to start? Yes. I had to add nomodeset to startup, then I get KDE up. Where do I put nomodeset, so I do not have to do it every time I start. you can add it via yast2 -> system -> bootloader -> edit add "nomodeset" (w/o "s) to "Optional Kernel Command Line Parameter"
or from cl: yast -> system -> bootloader -> edit and as above Works fine now. Thanks. Gunnar -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
