Have the line FileDevice Yes in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf and restart the cupsd, then do lpadmin -p tofile -v file:/tmp/file.ps -E \ -P /usr/share/cups/model/Postscript.ppd.gz Of course each subsequent print job overwrites /tmp/file.ps but for a single user system it should be o.k.
