Go to www.ercb.com and checkout their reviews. Warning: I have
written several reviews there. My advice is spend time getting a
system up and working before you commit to moving the Web site
in-house. I prefer Postfix over qmail and Sendmail. Subscribe to the
Postfix e-mail list and read the docs on the Web site,
www.postfix.org. The included docs are really not enough. There is a
Postfix book out by Richard Blum, Sams Publishing. It is good though
not great and covers beginning thru intermediate use. There is
another Postfix book in the works, but it is probably a year away from
publication.

I'm fixing to get the chance to setup linux here at work to move our email/web page in house, to have better control over it. The company that is hosting it for us now runs on a windows nt server that goes down an I have to call to get it working again. My question can someone suggest a good book to invest in for mail servers setup an dns stuff. this will all be new to me, i have at home gotten apache setup to serve simple web pages an have sendmail sending mail out just not receiving yet. not had time to get that working yet. I once tried to replace sendmail with postfix an it broke the mail sending then. thanks for any suggestions on books for mail an dns stuff.
