Hi,
I want to install *skype*. Accordingly I did below :
arup@linux-wzza:~> zypper search skype Loading repository data... Reading installed packages...
S | Name | Summary | Type --+-----------------------------+------------------------------------+----------- | libpurple-plugin-skype | Libpurple plugin for Skype API | package | libpurple-plugin-skype-lang | Languages for package skype4pidgin | package | pidgin-plugin-skype | Pidgin plugin for Skype API | package | skype4pidgin | Libpurple plugin for Skype API srcpackage arup@linux-wzza:~>
Not getting which one to download. I love to install using *zypper* :-)
I am on 32bit machine.
Those are all simply libraries and plugins for other packages that have some skype interoperability (mostly with instant message capabilities of skype). Skype itself isn't on OpenSuse's repositories, it is a proprietary package. To load skype itself, go here: http://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-linux/ -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
