No, I used Yast (You DOESN'T work yet) to get the updates. Presently, Yast is the ONLY update utility I have that works. You, Smart and Zen STILL don't work properly after the update!
Hi Fred,
I had some fun as well. It wasn't until I got the system to register with Novell, and get an update mirror that I was able to update with YOU, twice, then ZMD worked on the next boot. I wonder if this is part of the fun that you are having.
'Don't have a clue, except that it's all working now - except for Zen, which I UNinstalled simply because it didn't work before, messed up badly, is VERY slow, and I simply don't like it. ;)
I think Zen is now tied into package management in terms of being used to install rpm's from your hard drive. If you have an rpm lying around try right clicking it and look at the install options. I'm curious if you have the Zen icon next to one of the install options.
