Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to do a headless install of 9.3 Pro, and if so, where there might be a howto on the subject?
Or 9.1 Pro, if I may be forgiven for piggybacking....
If I'm misunderstanding what you are suggesting, please do clear it up for me.

Well you asked how to do a headless install of 9.3 Hence 9.3 would be the server, so you should enable remote administration. This only allows it, but doesn't provide the tools required, so you need to setup desktop sharing. etc.. You can then install vnc or rdesktop on your windows or debian box or what ever you like, and pull up the desktop from your 9.3 box. To be honest this method is a waste of network resources and system resources, The problem with the VNC style apps, is that you must have an X session running on the server for it to work. I prefer using ssh myself. Setup the box: In the bios set halt on no errors default run level 3 enable ssh and fish://user@server from your other linux PCs. Or use Putty from you windows PC. (I don't have a windows PC) :) For editing config file use quanta fish://user@server in the open dialog box, Your "A" away!! :) By the way, Yes you can do it in 9.1 as well Good luck -- Chadley Wilson Redhat Certified Technician Cert Number: 603004708291270 Pinnacle Micro Manufacturers of Proline Computers ==================================== Exercise freedom, Use LINUX =====================================
