[opensuse] Installing R (R-base)

I've managed to install the R statistical package (R-base) from openSuse 10.2 (I'm running SLED 10.2.) It's taken a week and a half to get to this point. R runs but if I try to do any graphics, it tells me the "X11" module cannot be loaded. When I've installed R on other distros, all you had to do was install R and the graphics came along. If any one has any idea on how to fix this, I would appreciate hearing about it.
