Hi All, I don't know why S.u.S.E doesn't have any newsgroup for their product while other linux distributor has theirs? Anyway, I suggest there should be newsgroups so we don't have to browse through 5-6 hundred email to find out answers to our problem. I think its not me, but most of you out there feel the same way. So, we all need to send our feedback to S.u.S.E Inc. our need as customers.
Following few sounds good...
comp.linux.suse comp.linux.suse.setup comp.linux.suse.admin comp.linux.suse.application comp.linux.suse.network comp.linux.suse.misc and there could be others specific to certain areas (like Database programs, Office and so on)

Thanks, but no thanks! Spam, porn, profanity, flame-baiting? I think that would pretty much overwhelm and ultimately destoy this outstanding mailing list in record time ;-)
Check the archives mentioned in the footer on all the messages:
<A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
Maybe what would really help is a powerful and fast search engine for those archives.
And don't forget the Manual and Support Database from S.u.S.E., the more generic LDP HOWTOs at <A HREF="http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/"><A HREF="http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/</A">http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/</A</A>> , or the search engine at <A HREF="http://www.dejanews.com"><A HREF="http://www.dejanews.com</A">http://www.dejanews.com</A</A>>
Maybe a fast and powerful search engine for the mailing list archives and Support Database would be a better solution.
Why not do what the Solaris list does - all messages go on a central server, fully HTMLized, and the server sends out ONE email per day with hyperlinks to each message. This would save disk space on the clients, allow full searching on the server, and minimize the amount of email that a person receives.
