There are recommended updates for nfs-client & kernel server. However, the updates fail with "nothing provides librirpc.so.1()(64bit) needed by nfs-kernel-server-1.3.0-26.x" Anyone else having this problem? Work arounds, other than not installing? In which openSUSE?
# grep RETT /etc/os-release PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Leap 42.1 (x86_64)" # which librir which: no librir in (/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/root/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games:/opt/kde3/bin) Just wondering why you are doing that search. The error said
"nothing provides librirpc.so.1()(64bit)"
Which is a library not an executable.
On my system the dependency is for libtirpc.so.1()(64bit)
Are you sure you haven't confused by (also) making a typo in the library name?
