If I try to start Rosegarden 21.06.bp154.1.51-x86_64 first all by itself and then after having purged everythiong*rosegarden* and started qjackctl I get the folowing errors:
Not sure if this is related, but I was surprised to see the jack packaged updated for 15.4 on 10/22. The updates I received were:
libjack-devel
didn't have it aboard at all, installed, no change
libjack0 libjacknet0 libjackserver0
1.9.12-1.33-x86_64 found installed, don't know since when, not upgradable at this time

Digging a little bit way back when, the consensus was to simply ignore these errors as they were essentially just stray messages related to jack.
In your case, a SegFault shouldn't occur, so your issue is different.
Have you updated the jack packages listed above? If so, did jack work with soundgarden before that? If it did, whatever changes were made to jack may be the issue.
I updated 15.4 some days ago but I seldom test Rosegarden right away*** It HAD been working but its Suse history has always been one of _now it works now it doesn't_ :-( Works OK on TW (also more or less up to date). Also I thought RG worked with or without jack *** I just HAVE to tell this story! Everyone feel free to pass it on :-) My dad was driving our 1955 farm Ford F-100 with me in the passenger seat circa 1958 on a nice summer day. I was about 14. I coincidentally noticed a cop following us and told him so. He replied "yes, 'been eyeballing him for a while". Then he pulled over and started slowly walking around the truck. The cop pulled up behind us and walked over saying "Sir, your rear plate is missing" (in those days we had to have both front and rear plates). My dad replied "Yes officer, thank you, I just noticed that". So the cop asked "why did you stop"? My dad replied "I stop every half an hour to see if my license plate is still on". Cop let us go, grinning in pain.
