Sandy, I downloaded and installed the standard Linux distro from the star office site. All went fine, however it is about a 54 meg d/l ... It seems like a really nice suite for the price (free for personal use) it does take a while to boot though ( I am running a Celeron 266 @ 400 mhz 96 megs ram and suse 5.2 with 2.0.34 kernel). Don't know about the caldera package. I have it here on cd, but didn't try it as it was an old version I got with Open Linux (which I tried and didn't like) some time ago. Any thoughts/comparisons on SO vs Applix? Can the (Caldera) OpenLinux rpm of SO be installed on SuSE? If not, does anyone know where I can get an rpm of SO that will install on SuSE?
TIA
