In my followup I posted that if I run as SU it works fine. Likewise, so does kdesu. In any case, this is a slight change in behavior since I used to be able to run YaST2 as a regular user and it would prompt be for the root password. On 12 Aug 2002 at 22:16, Joe & Sesil Morris (NTM) wrote:
Did something happen to kdesu? what happens if you run the command "kdesu -- yast" from a console (in KDE)? You might want to check /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/Settings to be sure.
