I have always used the updated mantel/ kernels from SuSE, but as I need the EXT3 updates badly, I have no choice but to download kernel sources from www.kernel.org, as the mantel versions do not include these yet. Is there any obvious / serious reason not to use the www.kernel.org versions on SuSE systems (7.2 and 8.0) I would prefer to stick with the mantel/kernels but SuSE is not merging kernel sources with www.kernel.org very often. Thanks in advance Bo Jacobsen
