Unfortunately (?!) this quirk seems to have fixed itself. I ran into that problem a couple of times w/ firefox 0.8 on SuSE9.0. I stopped messing with it (living w/out bookmarks for awhile) I just tried again and mysteriously things work now. I pretty much keep up with the latest updates available in the apt repositories, and have a TON of software installed that I don't know how to use (yet). Perhaps a recent update fixed things. The only other thing I can think of that might be related to the problem, I (Think) I had run the regular Mozilla not long before running firefox the times I had tie problem. I think it only happened to me 3 or 4 times, before I decided to live with the problem. I know it doesn't help, but at least Chip isn't the only one who has experienced this. - -- dh Don't shop at ZipZoomFly.com! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAvpoABwgxlylUsJARAlLIAJwNe/QwmzCxAHAMI7PNhj9iB5zzzgCeL4VB DriVoO6uKR1OjHJgGLlL/GI= =f6BJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
