I wondered if it was possible to create emmulator "shells" for the other platforms, such as the Mac, Sun, OS9, OS/2, etc. Like wine, etc has done for windows (yes, I know they can use the same hardware profile). OS/2 started to do this with V4 but with it's low sales profile it just did not have the money to continue. The only problem I can see is the chipset licencing code requirements. scsijon
CAN I install MAC OS X on the system and then install SuSE 8.0 over it ? I do not think you can install MAC OS X on a x86 compatible system. As it is native to Apple's Mac computers and their a PowerPC (I think) is used you won't have a chance to install it. will this run? See above. No. will this combo run both MAC and Doze software? If that combo *would* be possible you could boot to MAC OS to run MAC software. ut: SuSE 8.0 is not a DOS variant. without an emulator you is is not possible to run software intended to run on DOS. Point is, I really want to get all possible M$ software off of it to include the OS and yet, still be able to run certain s/w that has not yet been

either MAC or Linux. Try some emulatores like wine, but know noteverything will run on them.
