I located this file and downloaded it, but neither it nor any of the other maxima files would install because of dependency problems.
put the following in your browser (if you have 11.1) :): http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/science/openSUSE_11.1/maxima.ymp it should add/install also the dependences.
