Glenn,
I called Suse and asked about the support issue. They told me to email "info@suse.com requesting a registration number. I sent the email last Friday but I still haven't received a reply. I'll let you know if I come up with something. I could understand them requiring me to fax them the receipt. But where do I fax the receipt to?
Great. I'll send them some e-mail -- I hope it's not necessary to fax a receipt, because this info should be on their system somewhere. Re: Star Office, all I'm looking for is the spreadsheet (supposedly) included with the suite. Abs, a Xaw-based spreadsheet, mangled my calculations. Gnumeric complains about my gtk-config script when I run ./configure (seems to have happened to a few other people too). I'm about to try Ksiag (Qt-based I believe); I hope it compiles and runs. With tax-time in the US around the corner, I'm getting anxious. Does anybody have a recommendation for a spreadsheet that compiles and runs -- bug-free -- under SuSE 6.0 & 2.2.x? -- Glenn -- - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
