I have a generic question: I executed the 'lspci -v' command and received the following output. I am wondering if this indicates that the card is, indeed supported and if so, why does it report not being configured & why can I not enable it!?

I know that Broadcom are handled by http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/ and also a free version at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ndiswrapper/ Both of these work by loading the ndis drivers delivered by these card managers (meant for use on windows platforms) under linux. I've used driverloader and am quite pleased with it. You can get a 30 day trial license from them. I tried madwifi and had more than a little trouble getting it to run my 802.11g card, although I did get it to work eventually. But it was a bit of a lash-up and required me to write/run a couple scripts that linuxant did not require. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
