Hey all, I've been ripping my CDs to MP3s (for my own use - no desire to P2P stuff I've paid for). There are some songs that have too much blank space at the end of the track or in some cases have two songs on one track (the "bonus track" conspiracy, as seen on Placebo albums among others). Can anyone suggest a good program to cut the blank space off the end of some of these tracks, and split those files with two songs into two files? (Preferably something you've already used and can highly recommend.) I'm assuming I'll have to use WAV or raw data to do this, as I haven't seen a real MP3 editor yet. Using SuSE 7.3 Pro, in case someone knows of a good program that happens to be available on the disks.
