No, Mozilla has nothing to do with GNOME. Epiphany is a Web browser commonly found on GNOME desktops, as well as Galeon, both based on Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine. Mozilla's user interface code is called XUL and is independent from the desktop environment. Mozilla does not care whether you run Windows, GNOME, KDE, XFCE, Fluxbox, TWM, MacOS-X, or any other kind of operating system graphical user interface... Mozilla has its own interface code. (note when I say Mozilla I mean Mozilla Suite, the 1.7 series, not the Mozilla Firefox browser)
and I am unsure if I can have them both installed???
On my KDE systems I have installed Konqueror, Mozilla (Suite), Mozilla Firefox, Epiphany, Opera, links, and lynx. They all work great and in harmony with each other. I even run Konqueror and Mozilla at the same time. -- NSK http://portal.wikinerds.org
