A few suggestions came in regarding letting the scripts get completed, and YaST will quit saying that it has unfinished business at start-up, and will quit auto launching itself. I let it sit for a good while (at least 20 minutes) when it said it was going to start running scripts, then pressed enter as requested and continued. When I finally got through YaST and completed loging in, I checked Ctrl-Alt-F9', where I was greeted with a blank screen. Then I read the /var/log/Config.bootup file, and everything in it ended with the statement 'done', and at the very end it said 'finished', yet when I reboot my system, YaST still launches every time and says it probably has unfinished business, only to never come up with any, and never do anything. PS: When it says it has scripts to run, it says these will begin in one minute, yet many minutes later there is still zero HD activity, and all the while a message saying "press enter to continue" (which appears in about a second, not in one minute) stares me in the face. Thanks to everyone for all the help so far! I'm not home yet, however.
