Hi,
I have several installs of Leap 42.3, and almost all of them have the same problem with yast2 - launching it results in: /sbin/ast2: line 447: 30273 segmentation fault (core dumped) $y2ccbin $Y2UI_ARGS “$@“
However, yast2 —gtk works just fine.
No updates from repositories really helps.
Anyone know how to fix this issue ? Thanks in advance.
Oh, THAT! Yes, I had that in 11.<something> and again in 12.<something> and never did find a fix, so I just kept using the workaround that you describe. It was one of the things that weaned me off Yast and onto using the command line way of doing most things, particularly using "zypper" which I have now come to cherish.
