I've emailed the list a couple times about not being able to fully sync with the update mirrors, but I finally figured out why. I run the following command to do this: lftp -c 'mirror -e -vvv ftp://ftp.solnet.ch/mirror/SuSE/i386/update/8.2/ /data/suse/8.2/updates/i386/update/' The problem is that it always chokes when it hits the rpm/i686 directory, which is empty. I can lftp to it by hand just fine, but when it's running in mirror mode, it thinks the fact that it doesn't see anything in the directory means that it got disconnected, and keeps trying to reconnect. This looks like a plain-and-simple BUG in lftp, and I guess there's nothing to do about it. It's only started doing this in the past month or so, so I'm guessing that the latest update broke this for me. I guess the question I have now is: How do people script wget to do the same thing? Thanks, dk
