I have an external SATA3 2TB Western Digital HDD which is formatted (at the moment) in ntfs. When I switch it on Dolphin opens this HDD and I can see all the files it contains. But unlike what I got in 12.2 when I start mc (Midnight Commander, my much preferred file manager) mc doesn't 'see' this HDD. In 12.2 it used to be mounted in /media/<name of HDD> . In /etc/filesystem I have 'ntfs' as an addition to the list of file systems. So, why isn't the HDD mounted in /media as in the past? Any clues, please? BC PS The HDD is also recognised in XP and accessible by all file managers (which I have in XP). -- Using openSUSE 12.3 x86_64 with KDE 4.10.1 & kernel 3.8.2-2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
