chmod smbmount question

A little while back someone sent to the list a chmod command to make smbmount and smbumount accessable to users without su. Is it: chmod 755 /usr/bin/smbmount I can't remember now and I kinda lost my back up CD. Also where are the searchable email lists on SuSE?
