I shut down my puter to install new sound card. Did the reboot and now it won't come back up.
Get the error message BIOS EDD factility v0.16 2004-Jun-25, 2 devices found "Loading reiserfs" Resume device /dev/sda1 not found (ignoring) Waiting for device /dev/sda2 to appear:................................not found -- exiting to /bin/sh
sda1 is the swap and sda2 would be the root partion.
I think it can't faind the device files as /dev/ dosn't show sda1, sda2, or sda3
If i boot into a rescue system they are there.
Grub loads and the bios can find the drives.
this is on 10.3 novell dvd source
thanks
