Hello, As I have understood, there are several "protocols" to accelerate 2D graphics in linux.. for example kaffeine and smplayer give several options for this. Well, I have the 2D acceleration working OK in smplayer and kaffeine (it is using the "default" which I think is "xv"), but in flash-based videos in the web, like in youtube, I get no 2D acceleration at all, and the video is very framebufferish. Any ideas how to tell flash-player that it should use "xv" for 2D acceleration? Also the terminal program (command line client) and some other basic programs update their window in a very sluggish manner. I am using the openchrome driver on a hp2133 mini-laptop that has the chrome9 graphics chip.
