Enjoy the application - I find it useful and fun.
The flight simulator part, you mean?
LOL! No, believe it or not, we generate our own KML files at work and have various esri (http://www.esri.com/) software packages working in conjunction with Google Earth. Here's one from a few years back where I had a cell phone with a gps unit, that fed data to a SQL server we had locally, connected to ArcIMS and Google Earth doing the overlay on a satellite image of my house. http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/kai_gps_home.jpg http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/kai_gps_home_zoom.jpg The server running google earth and arcims was - iirc - SLES 9. Working where I am now, we overlay political boundaries over various areas to create such things as a Tax Rate Area (TRA) or determine precincts for elections. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
