What to do with tracker? I cannot uninstall it.
I do not have it installed, so I'm sure it's possible to uninstall.
Well actually it is possible toi uninstall but with about 227 packages as
well, including yast2 and zypper. As I use zypper, I consider this to be
inacceptable.
And you tried to disable it? Seems the first thing that comes to ones mind if one wants to stop some service.
I have looked in the service list in Yast (SCPM) and there is no such service there.
I was under the impression this was a user space desktop search, like beagle used to be. Seems like some kind of GNOME failure, I'd imagine you'll need to poke around in the GNOME settings to disable it, not the system settings. -- “What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.” - Christopher Hitchens -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
