Having been through it, my opinion is that LPI certification is worth it. I decided a few years ago that I would only get vendor neutral certifications in the future, and LPI meets that requirement. For me, certification forces me to dig deep into areas that I otherwise may not have explored. So, I always learn something useful from the experience. I can't say that it has changed my marketability so far, but it's nice to have on the resume. Regards, Keith

I have been poking around looking for some formal Linux certification or training. A few questions for the group... especialy list-members in in Europe.
Has anyone done the Linux certification thing? Is getting an LPI (Linux Professional Institute) certification worth it?
