Hi,
Thanks, I did the recompile and have to use the -f option with insmod, but it works.
For anyone here who has a Lucent LT pci modem (commonly found in laptops) this is to let you know that it works quite well using the lucent module. The install script works, with the exception that it writes the insmod line to rc.local file which is the equivalent to boot.local so some hand editing of that file may be required.
A coworker just suggested to me that rc.local be a symlink to /sbin/init.d/boot.local. Is there a reason that this wouldn't work? -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
