I use su(lowercase, I am not a newbie :)). When I type in su, I then put in the password and I get login incorrect. I have used Aterm/Eterm/Xterm(from the KDE YAST2 menu)/Konsole. I have not changed to a different console i.e. Alt+F2. How do I get this to work?

I can login and can use the root account, however, when I am in a console in my user account, I can't use SU. I have even tried the SuSE provided Open a root Xterm, no go. How do I fix this?
What exactly do you mean by "you can't use "SU"? What exactly happens? Do you get an error message? Please note, that the command "su" is all lowercase - just to be sure you type it correctly :)
