SMC EZ-NET ($20) and Netgear FA310TX ($20-$30) works fine. The SMC card even includes a Turbo Linux CD and a 6-foot network cable. (A good value if you need a card AND cable if you can't afford both.) I'm still new to using the SMC cards, but the Netgear cards worked flawlessly over the past year that I had them. hi all i am planning to build a home network, and run a suse box as a nat/name server/mail server/etc. and i am wondering what, hopefully cheap, network cards would you all recommend? my budget at this point is tiny - about $150 for a hub and two 100baseT cards.. so i need recommendations/suggestions... what can i get that is cheap and works well with suse, and isnt a pain to install and configure?
thanks a lot
