Hi,
The insallation of it is a bit different between the two os'es but in
general the MySQL server should be almost exactly the same as on NT
I have it running on win 2000 and SuSE 8.1 and personally find working on
the linux in co-op with webmin (www.webmin.com)
the most easiest and userfriendly.
regards
Chris

Well, i know nothing about MySql, but i'll be nowadays.. There's a MySql application here in the bank i work for, and i'm supposed to take the support for this app over. I know nothing about this app for now, except for it's being on an nt server.
Meanwhile, i'll install and begin to learn MySql at home on suse 7.1.
Are there differences between MySql on nt & MySql on linux? Maybe we can transfer the app to a linux machine. Will it do better? Just to get prepared for the taking over process, may i get your suggestions?
