Hi, Having now acquired a permanent connection at work I am only using dial-up from home. However a problem has arrisen and I cannot ell if it is me or them. My connection goes through the NHS net (in the UK) and hence out to the rest of the world. When trying to send smtp mail from work I end up with error message about: ending smtp command then a while later unable to connect to server How do I go about finding how far my connection to server is getting before it is being blocked so that I can speak to whoever maintains that system? I am new to linux (and networks and permanent connections) so have mercy TIA Francesco. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
