Perhaps definitely off list now... But we had a system in Saudi Arabia that had to operate in very high temperatures. We wound up routing the vehicle air conditioning through tubes to places that needed cooling. The trickiest part was the housing mounted outside the vehicle that contained lasers and such. The lasers are designed for factory use, not a traveling oven. Interesting to hear about the R Pi. We are considering using one as a transducer interface. Temperature has been (always is) a concern. journeys past all the planets in the solar system. I don't think it's asking too much for it to weather a summer's day.
may be not the same price. I'm just these days afraid of how high can be a t° in a car exposed to sun :-(
but then we should go to OT list, I guess
