On that case you could check System Settings->(Hardware) Input Devices->Keyboard Settings Hardware Tab. There is a Check Radio button for NumLock on KDE Startup section. Most probably you would have it "Turn on", "Turn off" or "Leave unchaged" options. So switch it to desired option.
of course, I did the computer is an asus s400c. I see nothing in the bios relative to the num keys (uefi bios) Windows boots without the problem (I have the same passwd on windows and linux) the kde option is on "no numlock", i see no such option in kdm (aka login, opensuse theme) same option alos set at "no numlock" in yast I even tried to activate numlock in kde config, with no more result. Whatever is the kde config option "activated" or "not activated", the num keypad is activated as soon as I close the kde session. and this is recent, I didn't have this say a month ago thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
