I'm not aware of a method to tell the DNS server not to provide IPv6 answers, which is what would be needed when the ISP does not provide IPv6.
I found a trick for Ubuntu. Edit "/etc/default/bind9": # run resolvconf? RESOLVCONF=yes # startup options for the server OPTIONS="-4 -u bind" I don't know what would be the equivalent for openSUSE, but anyway, you are not using bind. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
