Hi
I have several of these cards. I set one up in 5 minutes by using yast (under SuSE 6.1). Then, for some reason, it stopped working and hasn't worked since, even after a fresh install! The module gets loaded fine, and ifconfig gives a good output, although no network traffic van be sent to/from the card - not even pings.... Any suggestions???
Thanks,
Read the documentation for that NIC (3c90x) in /usr/src/kernel/Documents/network. There are some parameters you can use to adjust speed and full/halfduplex. If you run a 10Mbit network put it in halfduplex. On 100Mbit network fduplex is good if you have a switch or good hub and all other devices run in full-duplex
