Hi, I've seen the light, and have seen what a nice package fetchmail is, and I've tried to set it up as suggested in the Offline-Mail howto.
Yes. Fetchmail is great. I've used it for years.
The problem I'm having is that my password is rejected. I tried pmail also, and my isp mail server rejects the password.
Well I've looked into it a bit, and it seems that it is an APOP password challenge. It is in the fetchmail docs. I need to figure out how to get to popauth on the server and change the APOP password. Then I'm afraid I'll mess up Netscape's APOP setup. Can I have 2 APOP passwords? One for netscape and another for fetchmail? - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
