I have a friend who has a new box with XP personal installed. He is keen to try Linux. If I give him 9.2 will it be safe to use yast to resize his existing NTFS XP. Has anybody done it yet ? Is it ok ?

It's good to hear that others have had no problems and I hate to throw a spanner in the works, but my two attempts at resizing ntfs partitions with 9.1 ended in disaster, with the data being trashed. I did defrag the drive first. So, make sure your friend backs up everything before doing it!
