I do know that from my use of Dolphin to copy to files and the use of mc I found that Dolphin is like walking thru molasses in winter when it comes to copying some files compared to how fast mc handles them -- but this "user-space" thingie has me spaced-out :-) . Why should whatever it this "user-space" thingie work the same as what one gets when using USB2 and not what one would expect when using USB3?
