What exactly else should I be doing to get setup to work ?
Thanks I ran setup in X, after setting up the libs, cause the installation is graphical, the setup routine is similar to Win95's install shield, you'll get a type of graphical menu. I never ran it from the console, maybe that's the problem. So once you have your libs going and have run ldconfig, then boot X, and run ./setup in X. You'll see the menu, it'll build and then you'll want to be online so you can register.

Yes, I'm doing this all in X. Thanks. I've followed your directions but no go on my box.
