[opensuse] Leap 15.2: grub2 patch openSUSE-2020-1282 made my system unbootable

Hi all, was I the only one having issues with openSUSE-2020-1282 (the grub2 patch) that was rolled out yesterday? After installing it I couldn't boot to linux anymore, the error was something about being unable to read the kernel and ram disk. grub2-mkconfig didn't help, only rolling back to the grub version before the patch did.
