It works that way, however I get an Error message that says: "Cannot create a new process Cannot create a new process: You may have exceeded either the user or system limit for the number of active processes. Or the executable may not be found in its proper directory." However, WP8 opens OK. A little slower than under 6.4, but OK. Anybody know what this error message is talking about? Your right! It was installed as root. I hadn't even looked at that before. In the icon dialog, I selected "Run as a different user", entered my username, and now the icon works. Thanks for the tip!!

I found on one of my 7.1 installs no matter who installed what app it was always set to root only and no execute permissions for anyone .. ??? ( although a sort of workaround , but clumsy, was to select "run as another user" , then It might let you run it at root, but then again, maybe not? Sepended here on the phases of the moon, or something ... I've given up asn decided to reinstall the os as I royally screwed something up anyway. BUT at least it's a place to start looking ???
